2017 Summer Camps

Summer is just around the corner and its time to start thinking about summer camps for the riders in your family

Beginner Camp 1            June 26th – 30th

Beginner Camp 2            July 10th – 14th

Beginner Camp 3            July 24th – 28th

Beginner Camp 4            Aug. 21st – 25th (8am – 3pm)

 

Open to riders ages 7 and up. Camp will run 9 am – 4 pm and will focus on horse care and basic riding skills. Each day will include a riding lesson, a theory lesson, and lunch by the pool, swimming, and helping in the barn. $375 per rider

 

Intermediate Camp 1       July 13th – 17th

Intermediate Camp 2      Aug. 7th – 11th

 

Open to riders ages 9 and up who are comfortably walk/trot/cantering and jumping. Camp will run 9 am – 4pm. Each day will include a riding lesson, a theory lesson, and lunch by the pool, swimming, and helping in the barn. $375 per rider

 

James City County Horse Care Camp 1                  July 5th – 7th

James City County Horse Care Camp 2                  Aug. 15th – 17th  

 

Riders must sign up through James City County Parks and Recreation in order to attend this camp. Open to children ages 9 and up to be held from 8 am to 1 pm. Camp is designed for students to learn the daily routine of feeding, handling and barn chores in a large boarding and lesson barn. After taking care of the horses each morning students will have a group riding lesson.
