Stonehouse Stables attends and hosts several horse shows throughout the year. We believe horse shows are a critical aspect to riding. We have developed a traveling show team where students work toward year end awards, helping our students and horses set and achieve personal and performance goals. We attend many different venues during the year and have prize lists for our horse shows online. Our student horse shows at the local level (HRHSS, CHSA and VHSA) and A rated shows (USEF) provide a variety of showing levels and locations. Please feel free to visit the pages below to check out the latest show related information.
Home Shows vs. Away Shows
All shows require your full attention and effort. The type of show you should attend depends on what you want to gain from the experience. We recommend everyone start with a home show before traveling with us to away shows.

VHSA Horse Shows
Stonehouse Stables belongs to the Hampton Roads Horse Show Association(HRHSS), and the Capital Horse Show Association (CHSA) centered in Richmond, Virginia. Both of these local venues hold VHSA Associate shows. Our show team travels to HRHSS, and many of the CHSA shows, scheduled from April through November each year.
Stonehouse Stables will host two VHSA Horse Shows. Below you can view the schedule for each show.
